Mr. Mogg

Mr. Mogg, 6th grade Social Studies Teacher KIPP GCP

It’s hard to talk about myself without mentioning those who have inspired  challenged, and taught me along the way. I wouldn’t be who I am today without those who have influenced me.

I am originally from a small town located in the utmost northern end of California.  I went to college at Humboldt State University (Famous for its inspiration to Stephen Hillenbug, the cartoonist of Sponge Bob Square Pants). My professors at Humboldt inspired me to work hard and engage my educational experience. There is a special place in my heart for those great educators who make history come alive.

Strength Finder

» Input – I have a craving to know more. I like to collect and archive all kinds of information.

» Learner- I have a great desire to learn and want to continuously improve. In particular, the process of learning, rather than the outcome, excites me.

» Responsibility I take psychological ownership of what I say I will do. I am committed to stable values such as honesty and loyalty.

Hmmm. That is a tough one Ms. Green. On any given day, I like to go for a run. However, somedays- when I am in the mood for shooting photos, I can’t stop thinking about it, so it becomes my favorite.

A long answer to a simple question: it depends on the day you ask me. Today, my favorite hobby is reading!
      What is your favorite hobby?
